Hello. I’m Chris W. Rea — a husband, dad, computer geek, and professional software craftsman living near Toronto, Canada. My passion for computing started early, and upon discovering programming, I was hooked. I’ve been using & programming computers of various kinds, in various ways, in excess of twenty years.
On this blog, I share my thoughts on technology, computing, making software for fun & profit, and the business of software, and loosely-related topics like personal productivity. Occasionally, a post may go into technical detail. Feel free to skip — or if you’re here for some of that stuff, great!
You can also find me on a handful of other public places online:
- I have another blog, Pragmatic Money – One Canadian’s perspective on personal finance, where I write about personal finance and consumer matters for Canadians.
- I participate at The Personal Finance & Money Stack Exchange, a free question & answer community that I helped create. I think it’s great. Please check it out!
- From time to time, I also participate at these other Stack Exchange sites: Super User, Stack Overflow, Ask Different, Pro Webmasters, Server Fault, and more.
- Reach me on Twitter: @cwrea, LinkedIn: in/chriswrea, or Google+: +ChrisWRea.
Thanks for visiting.

Chris W. Rea
